The Asian Science Camp brings together around 200 young people from over 40 countries.

Rotorua North helped fund Jason Lee, one of 5 NZ Year 13 students, to attend and he joined us to share his experience of the week long camp.

The camp held in Manado, Indonesian aims to promote international cooperation and networks among high-achieving young science students.

During the six-day camp, Nobel Laureates and world class researchers share their science experience through plenary sessions, round table discussions and student master classes, all designed to encourage deeper thinking about science.

I sounds like Jason had a great time and got a bit of an insight into life as a Uni student.  All the best for your studies next year Jason, it has been a pleasure supporting you over the last few years and watching you develop and fine tune your plans for life after high school.
