For 30 years now Rotary Rotorua North have been running the Saturday market, starting at the Woolworths carpark (now the site of the Novotel) the market is now run from Kuirau Park, and is about to undergo a significant re-development.
Market Director Garry Adlam has been working with members of the Rotorua Lakes Council over the past year as part of the Council's Long Term Plan to revamp Kuirau Park. The proposed new site for the market is not far from its current location and will have a major impact on the market and for Kuirau Park as a whole.
