Club members enjoyed an interesting presentation by David Grieve, a Melbourne author, and Doncaster Vic Rotarian, on his book, "How to Eat an Elephant".

Whilst the book is primarily about how to successfully manage a Business, his concepts can be applied to many applications in life, he gave a detailed outline of what you need to do to write, check, finalise, and print a book. And it involves a lot more than just those items if you want it to be published as a book available anywhere.

David donates all the funds he makes from the book, which can be purchased as a printed book, or an email version, to the Rotary Foundation, which highlights his endeavour to help less fortunate people in the world.

During his presentation it was interesting to see that his Rotary Club has similar projects as to our, especially in the way they have been supporting some of our less fortunate people in Timor Leste due to floods and other issues.

Anyone wanting a copy of his book should contact the Rotary Club of Doncaster Victoria, who will no doubt be happy to pass on your details for his to call you back.

Thanks David for a very enjoyable night, and we all enjoyed your company and presentation.
