I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful autumn weather over the weekend. Big thanks to Gordon for facilitating our Strategic Planning lunch last Wednesday.

It was great to see most people participating in the discussions and the biggest take aways for me were that we need to be more flexible in our meeting times and places to attract new and potentially younger members and improve our communication to ensure that everyone is kept up to date with what is happening in the club.

The board will discuss the plan at our next meeting in April and we will then deliver the finalised report to our members. Gordon also recently sent out an email to all members regarding the 1000 metre Vert Challenge and fundraiser for educating school children in Kenya. I think this is a great initiative and it would be great to see our members embrace this project. With Easter fast approaching, Julie has once again done a great job in organising hampers for Meals on Wheels to deliver out to people in the community.

Any donation of easter eggs or money would be greatly appreciated by Julie. There will be no lunch meeting this week as we are having are monthly social night at the Jindera pub from 5.30pm onwards this Wednesday.

Please Remember Wrapping will be on Wednesday at 4.30 before going to the Jindera Hotel That will be at 692 dean Street Albury. Looking forward to seeing you Julie
