Susanne Zbinden Bio

 

Susanne joined Rotary in March 2008 with the Rotary Club of Orangeville after having moved to Canada two years prior. After serving as Club Secretary for a number of years, she became Club President in 2014-2015. In October of 2021 Susanne changed clubs and is now a member of the Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands.

 

Since 2019, Susanne has been a member of the District Training Committee, helping with events such as PETS, RLI and CLT. Susanne is in her second of three years as Assistant Governor for the Dufferin-Erin-Caledon cluster with six clubs. Furthermore, she is the current Annual Fund and Endowment Fund Chair within the District’s Foundation Committee.

                                                                                                                            

Susanne is a multiple Paul Harris recipient, Paul Harris Society Member, Major Donor, Benefactor and Legacy Society Member.

 

Susanne is a trained linguist, fluent in seven languages. She is also a certified Business Etiquette and International Protocol Consultant. For several years Susanne worked as a Trade Show Specialist and Safety & Compliance Director for her husband’s transportation company. Last year, Susanne and her husband Richard very successfully started a new venture: Importing and distributing dental health products for cats, dogs and horses, and also nutritional supplements for cats and dogs.

 

Susanne lives in Caledon with her husband Richard Delongte, a Rotarian with the Guelph-Trillium club, and their dog Koa.
