YMCA Youth Mentorship Program

Eva Wassef is the Mentorship Facilitator in charge of delivering the Mentorship Program at YMCA Immigrant and Employment Services in Waterloo Region. She has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Career Development and a Certificate of Job Development Professional. Eva has over 5 years of experience in providing employment services mainly to immigrants and refugees through various roles such as Employment Counselor, Job Developer and Mentorship Facilitator.

Eva is also a member of the Work Steering Group which is a part of the Immigration Partnership that is responsible for facilitating successful settlement and integration of immigrants and refugees in Waterloo Region.

Eva is an immigrant herself. She immigrated in 2010 from Egypt and was able to successfully build a rewarding career in Career/Job Development.
