International Service
The Director of International Service oversees our international projects and support. Rotary is the only large service organization with an International Service mandate. Our club takes that job very seriously, directing at least 30% of funds raised each year to help those less fortunate outside of Canada.
International projects are varied, and provide many ways for members to help. In addition to fundraising, in recent years members have traveled to Tanzania, Haiti, and Guatemala for hands-on participation. Sometimes one of our own club members initiates and organizes an international project, and other times we take a supporting role to other Rotary clubs or charitable organizations.

In addition to scheduled projects, we set aside an annual budget for disaster relief, supporting the work of well-known organizations like Canadian Red Cross, Plan Canada, World Vision and Medecins sans Frontieres.
