Good News

Anne Marie went to the Rotary International Conference  held in Houston- pretty hot I would imagine! AM had mentioned how amazing it was to see the extent of Rotary projects, how interesting all the different clubs are and their unique projects. That can be seen at the House of Friendship and which is a huge area of great ideas - not to mention humbling at how much Rotary accomplishes Internationally.
They made many good friends, had tonnes of fun and found new places to visit. You actually get to experience and appreciate the Foundation's Huge Impact and ability to create awareness and make change globally for the betterment of humanity.
Anyone who can  attend RI conference should...talk to Anne Marie to hear more about her own experience.
Joke
No actual joke but apologies to our Speaker today doing their Who Am I - Vince and the terrible ..yet kinda funny ....."good" Lawyer jokes.

Club Job Openings
Our club is in need of another Bulletin Editor. This is a once a month gig and there is power in this position. Editors are given literary license to write what they wish and carry out (literary) character assassinations at their leisure. Sense of humour is preferred. If you don't have one, we will happily share ours. One size fits all.
Program
Paul introduced Vincent Ciro Mervin de Cicco - no not a famous painter, Italian opera singer or F1 racer...but our very own amazing new Member Vince from Pavey Law.

Who Am I' s are the best way to get to know our new members and although Vince is a new member he has already jumped in with two feet to participate in many of our fundraising projects, and community events. Definitely the perfect way to get to know all the members and feel great about giving back to the community. Two of the main reasons Vince joined the club.

Vince Born in 1989 only son - his Dad was born in Naples Italy and mother in Chatham Ontario.
Vince has three older sisters - Antoinette, Julia and Tiffany - second marriage
Vince is married - during Covid  Oct 20, 2020- and he and Audra have a beautiful puppy Gracey. They met at the University of Waterloo both while doing their undergraduate degrees -they purchased a condo this year in Kitchener.

Vince comes from an entrepreneurial background - whereby grandparents and parents owned businesses in beauty and and providing building materials. It was all around him growing up.
Thus his passion for practicing commercial law.
After Graduating with a degree in Political Science and Legal Studies with a Masters in Public Service from University of Waterloo, Vince found after working in public sector - he would go back to school for his law degree.
The Bora Law School in Thunder Bay was a little too far away so Vince decided to complete his law degree in Ottawa. Then came back closer to home and began his position as an Associate specializing in Wills &Estates, Commercial/Corporate Law as well as Res& Commercial Real Estate.
Travelling, is on of many of Vince's passions and his favourite trip - was a cross Canada RV tour.  He has a knack for capturing some pretty neat historical photos and has a great sense of humour.
Thanks for such an awesome presentation and great getting to know a little bit more about you - APOLOGIES on behalf of the club for the "good lawyer" ...jokes.

Reminder no regular meeting next week - Presidents Ball bring a guest - plan to attend!
