Julie Watts Bio

Langs is a non-profit organization that provides health, social and recreational services for all ages. Langs also increases access to a variety of services by being co-located with 35+ other agencies at our main site on Concession Road, The HUB@1145


Julie Watts is the Social Work Coordinator for Cambridge and North Dumfries.

She started her career at Christopher Champlain Community Centre, and since then has had a variety of work experiences from front line to senior management, working in child welfare, youth justice, employment Ontario services and Ontario Works at the City of London.  Prior to joining Langs, Julie was self employed as a Clinical Social worker offering individual, couple, family and group social work services through her Joyful Living business.  Julie teaches yoga and is completing her mindfulness certification at the University of Toronto and integrates these with the Science of Happiness to offer strategies and ways of being to invite people to move towards living flourishing lives.  Julie has a Masters Degree in Social Work, majoring in community development, social planning and policy. 


Julie was a fortunate participant with the Group Study Exchange to Germany.
