Ashton Adams is a Canadian music producer, dj and founder of Canadian based record label Kyngdom Records. Ashton has an incredible talent that allows him to create amazing production over many genres, but his love lies with the sounds of house music. Inspired by the story of young black DJ’s and producers in the 1970’s and 80’s, like the great Frankie Knuckles, who greatly shaped house music from the remnants of the disco era, Ashton has always had a connection to this genre. His production versatility stems from his exposure to a wide variety of genres. From the classic hip hop sound of 50 Cent and Lil Wayne, all the way to heavy-metal bands such as August Burns Red and Under Oath, he was able to connect musically with them all during his childhood and teen years. Ashton is also ½ of production duo Kyngs who’s debut single “Let U Go” has amassed over 5 million + streams. Ashton is also a part of house dj duo 401 WST with the world renowned, Toronto Raptors official DJ 4Korners. As owner of Kyngdom Records, Ashton oversees and manages all business operations within his label to ensure the highest quality service for his artists. He loves promoting and supporting talent from his local community and is passionate about building their artistry and musicality within his facility. Kyngdom Records has also partnered with the Waterloo Regional District School Board to help facilitate the infusion of the arts and culture into the education of students, exposing them to potential career opportunities for them in the future. Ashton believes in putting out music that you love. He believes in family, friends and maintaining good business practices and relationships. He prioritizes the health and wellness of those around him and possesses an incredible work-ethic that will continue to push himself, his company and his artists forward.
