Scott Taggart
Bolivia Sanitation Project

Scott_Taggart_copyScott Taggart has worked in the water treatment industry 19 years.   In 2014 he applied for and was fortunate enough to win a Rotary scholarship to study at the UNESCO affiliated school IHE in the Netherlands, where he earned his Master’s degree in Sanitary Engineering.

Scott has now returned to work for SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions in Canada, where he specializes in membrane filtration.

In keeping with Rotary’s ideal of service, he is supporting a Bolivian initiative to build eco-sanitary latrines in collaboration with former classmates, Rotary, and Engineers Without Borders. This is to both improve the lives of those living without adequate sanitation, and to thank Rotary for investing in him.
