Rotary Lights Full Park Volunteer Night

Join the RAH crew for a fun night of volunteering at Rotary Lights. 

Remember to dress warm and bring a big smile.

To assist with the event, sign up for a shift. Each shift will be 2.5 hours long. Duties will be assigned on the day of the event, but include directing traffic, collecting cash and food donations, and helping Santa! This volunteer event will replace our regularly scheduled meeting. 

We can't wait to have you join us for this fun and family-friendly event. We will rotate volunteers to warm up throughout the shift, but be sure to dress warm!

Instructions:

• The gates to the park open every night at 5:00 pm and close after the last car in line at 10 pm has left the park.  (On weekends especially, this can sometimes be 10:30 to 10:45 pm). Your first shift should report to the park no later than 4:45 pm for instructions, work vests, flashlights, etc. We will need at least two people from your last shift to wait for the last cars to leave.
• Report to the Headquarters Trailers in Riverside Park.  This is our warming trailer with coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh chocolate chip cookies. DO NOT PARK in the Park. The open streets should provide plenty of accessible parking.
• Please have enough people on each shift so you can rotate comfortably every 20-30 minutes depending on Mother Nature. We ask that all of your workers be preassigned to their duties and that each shift has a Captain.
