My Book Day at the library will be cancelled this year due to the uncertainty of when schools and the library will re-open. Rest assured, the books for the kids have already been ordered and we will get them to the first graders! Ultimately, this is the critical component in the My Book Day project as a number of studies have shown that just having more books in the home leads to long-term positive results. We will also work to get library cards to those first graders that do not already have them. Thanks to Tom and his team for their work organizing this event and to our supporters!
