At our last meeting we recognized two individuals as Paul Harris Fellows for their contributions to our community and club. Congratulations to this year's recipients.
Sara Jo Klubertanz (a/k/a Mrs. K), our Community Paul Harris Fellow recipient, was honored for her service working with the STRIVE program at Mayo High School as well as her work with the students as their Guidance Counselor. She truly possesses a Rotary heart.
Don Supalla, our Club Paul Harris Fellow recipient, was honored for his service to our community. We all know him as a consummate volunteer as well as a tirelessly devoted community advocate. He serves the community as board member and past chairman of the Rochester Area Foundation; board member and Rochester Advisory Council for Community Dental Care and also as a member of the board of the Greater Rochester Advocates for Universities & Colleges to name only a few. We also know him as the one who can always be counted on when Rotary is in action, stepping forward to lend a hand as well as his expertise and wealth of knowledge. Many of us who have participated in club service projects rarely remember a time when Don wasn't working alongside of us.
