Cradle2Career(C2C) is hosting an Education Summit for its current Networks (Kindergarten Readiness & H.S. Graduation) on Tuesday, October 4 from 10 AM- 4 PM at St. Mary's University at Cascade Meadows. The keynote speaker will be Superintendent Pekel who will be sharing Rochester Public School's Strategic Plan. Several other presenters will be focusing on the Summit’s theme of "Sustainability".

Join us on Sunday, October 9th at the Northwoods Orchard for a fall family fun day! Enjoy corn mazes, pumpkins, mums, and all things fabulously fall! We will be meeting at 3 PM on Sunday, look for our group in the picnic area when you arrive. Prices for activities: Large Corn Maze – $5.00 per person (no charge for children under 3 years), Small Corn Maze – $3.50 per person (one free adult per paid child), find an obscure path through the woods to enjoy nature – free! Our motto is Service Above Self. To support our service projects, the Rochester Risers Rotary Club is in the midst of our 3rd Annual Calendar Raffle.
Here's how it works - your odds of winning are pretty darn good:
- We sell 1,000 tickets only ($20 each).
- 365 Winners are drawn - minimum daily winning is $20.
- Special winnings on New Years Day $500, Tax Day $250, 4th of July $250, Labor Day $250, Christmas Day $500, seven other holidays are $100 winners.
- Every ticket drawn is thrown back in the hat so you can win multiple times.
- If your raffle number isn't drawn, you've supported one 1st grader in Rochester attending My Book Day - getting their own book, a book bag and a library pass, and our international service projects in Guatemala, Nigeria and Honduras.

The District 5960 Mid-term Conference is just around the corner.
Our District Mid-Term is happening the first weekend in January on Saturday the 7th. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m., and the program will begin at 8:30 a.m.. It will be fast, furious, and informational. The conference will end at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by President-Elect training for PEs and PENs.
