John H Potter, from Hudson Rotary, serves as the Executive Director for the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson.
 
The Phipps Center provides a spirited blend of performances, exhibitions and classes which ensure an accessible artistic experience for everyone.
 
For three decades, The Phipps Center for the Arts been a place to explore, host and celebrate the arts. It's a destination for visual art, theater, song and dance in the St. Croix Valley of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

The Phipps Center opened in 1983 with a theater and classroom space, due in large part to the generosity of the William H. Phipps Foundation, in tandem with community support.
holds its programs and offerings to the expectations set forth within its Mission and Vision statements as well as its statement of inclusion.
 
The Phipps has a mission to celebrate the creative spirit, and a vision to be a leader in attracting artists and patrons through an eclectic mix of creating, producing, presenting, and exhibiting artistic expression. Educational offerings welcome persons of all skill levels to explore the arts. Programming takes place at the Center and at sites throughout the region. Talented artists, loyal attendees, enthusiastic volunteers, and generous contributors support this exemplary nonprofit organization.
