Rick Olson from the Prior Lake Rotary Club joined to share details of the Rotary Global Grant 2122662 Providing Safe Drinking Water in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Uganda.
Rick Olson, from the Prior Lake Rotary Club, retired from a career in law, finance, agricultural business management, education administration and politics. He has traveled to all 50 U.S. states, and 41 countries. Most recently the Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda last February.
Rick is married 50 years to a retired school superintendent, the father of two boys and an adventurer: He rode his bicycle across the USA in 2016, 19 day trek to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest in 2017, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in 2019. Led Rotary tours through Eastern Europe in 2019.
