At the March 1st meeting, Jason and Rick Heuertz circulated list of upcoming volunteer opportunities. This was one recommendation coming out of the February assembly.
Some of the opportunities (with more to come):
- Service projects at the 3/29 meeting and on 3/30 to label books for Tools for School.
- Expanded Rotary Readers to include other elementary schools.
- Looking at a trial of added adults at Westside Kids Club to be a resource for reading, homework, etc.
- Staffing for Relay 4/1 (ClubRunner signup list has been generated)
- A few good grill cooks to grill up some plant-based sliders at EarthFest on 4/24
- Volunteers for concession stand work at the Friday 6/24 Fighting Fish baseball game.
- Camp RYLA coordinator role filled; Thanks to Tony Pedriana for stepping up.
