Before taking a group photo of the Coon Rapids Rotary Club, Jill Brown (the Executive Director of the North Metro Mayors Association), highlighted a few key points about her 30-year-old organization: 

 

--It includes mayors and top administrator staff from 15 communities in our area, 

--It includes community partners and non-profit organizations, 

--It offers a joint purchasing program which provides discounts and dividends,

--A large portion of its annual budget goes towards a team of lobbyists who advocate on behalf of important North Metro legislative issues.
