Hi Rotarians
I have been thinking to an alternative to the usual " Minutes of Meeting", and I thought that we could use some changes. This Bulletin could be sent out to all the members and non-members as well since it collects the spirit of our Meetings with the essential information.
The object would ultimately be to have more than one or two members publish life experiences or information. Let's start with the first report for all the members that were not present at our meeting last evening.
Another successful story from our Club.................
During our weekly meeting on Monday July 11th, we disbursed the funds raised during our last Frog Race to Creating Alternatives.
Phyllis Santone President and Founder of Creating Alternatives gave us information about the allocation of the $2500 donated by our Club. The Funds will support the Art Therapy Summer Program that is offered to adults with developmental disabilities.
Creating Alternatives provides day programs to adults with developmental disabilities over the age of 21 in York Region and Toronto.

Visit from the Executives of our Interact Club
It is always a pleasure when members of our Interact Club participate at our meetings.
Yesterday we had the pleasure to have the Interact President Aaliyah, Club Secretary Olivia, Treasurer and Public Relation Nicole, Member Olivia and V.President Catherine.
The Interact executive is preparing for the new school year. During the summer they will be helping at our Ribfest as volunteers. They reported to our Club news from the school and the proposal to create a new school t-shirt with the School Coat of Arms and the Interact logo. They hope to use this new t-shirt to improve membership among the school students. During the summer they are also planning a visit to Creating Alternatives.
