MIGUEL AND CHRISTINA AT THE ROTARY CLUB AT PLAYA DEL CARMEN

've attended my first Playa del Carmen Rotary meeting and only 5th in Mexico.

The Restaurant is walking distance from our house, on the picture you see the meeting location, a restaurant that we love where they make homemade pasta.

Is an English speaking club established a few years ago, about 30 members, about 40% Canandians/30% Americans and 30 % French, Italian, and Mexicans.

We exchanged banners..here is a pic of theirs.

A few projects they work on...I mainly liked one ( which I would like to know more and help), they help 2 schools in the jungle..located only 1 hour from here and they are supplying the schools with

...stationary

...just delivered 350 pairs of shoes

...used clothing.

Cristina and I were guests  and committed to help and visit...hopefully before we get back to Canada.

They had with us 19 guests today; they meet at 12.30 for lunch and the meeting last for 1.30 hour.
