Project Abraham

Rotary Toronto Eglington is pleased to partner with Project Abraham a local charity focused on supporting the needs of vulnerable newcomers to Canada.  Our recent donation of $6500 is going to support their Homework Club which is their customized tutoring program designed to help newcomer students develop and improve based on their individual needs, so that they can progress and not be left behind.  Many of these students have gaps in their education and lack English language fluency.  They use the funds to individually match qualified tutors to students kindergarten to Grade 12.   The donation comes from our Club's bingo funds from our charity assignment at the Delta St. Clair Bingo Hall, as of April 1, 2025 moved to Delta Etobicoke.
