Applications for Service Project Support

A large part of the life of Rotary Toronto Eglinton (RTE) is its service projects, providing financial and/or volunteer support to organizations and individuals in Toronto, Canada and internationally. Applications for support may be made by any registered, charitable, non-profit organization.  The Application Form and a Guide to Applicants are available by request from RTE Secretary Laura Wanot.
 
Applications are made to one of RTE’s three service committees, which are:
 
1. Community Service Committee: providing financial and/or hands-on support to appropriate organizations in support of their programs and services, primarily to community-based organizations active fully or in part in Toronto and Ontario.  Co Chairs: David Chapman-Smith, Norma Davis
 
2. International Service Committee: supporting international projects that fall within one of Rotary International’s seven areas of service - promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, saving mothers & children, supporting education, growing local economies, and contributing to sustainability of the environment.  Co Chairs: Barb Bocking, Joe Clarke
 
3. Youth & Vocational Service Committee: supporting youth and vocational projects that provide young people from varying backgrounds with special and meaningful experiences, and that instill in participants the Rotary concepts of service before self and greater global understanding.  Co Chairs: Mike Hazell, Chad Fink
