Mike Mooy - Classification Talk / Rotary Toronto Eglinton (RTE) Inducts 2 New Members

Mike Mooy Classification

Sandy Lowden introduced Mike to Rotary and also gave his own perspective of his son-in-law prior to Mike's talk.  He included the pronunciation of his last name (Mooy sounds like boy and similar to the statues found on Easter Island) and the fact that over 27 years Mike has been best friend and husband to Sandy's daughter JaneSandy described Mike as an all round great guy and a bit of a ”MacGyver”.

Mike then awed the crowd with a fun video depicting many stages of his life. He continued to keep the audience entertained with a picture slide show and humorous yet informative talk.

Special Presentation - New Member Induction

It was with great pleasure that Tim V, Chair of the Membership Committee, introduced both Michael (Mike) Mooy and Deborah (Deb) Lewis welcoming them officially to Rotary and as new members of RTE. Mike required no further introduction following his classification speech however Tim took the time to introduce Deb in more detail.
