Through the Lens of a New-Age Approach: Family-Centred Care in Canada's Welfare System

Anna Amy Ho, Crisis Counsellor and Violence Prevention Program Coordinator at at Victim Services.  A trauma survivor and Crown Ward, Anna is passionate about inspiring resilience in youth.  She is a sought-after public speaker who has appeared at the United Nations, HSBC, CIBC, University of Toronto and Ryerson University, among others.  For her dedication to make a positive impact on the lives of youth and trauma survivors, Anna received the Attorney General's Victim Services Award of Distinction in 2015, as well as Ryerson University's Alumni Achievement Award in 2017.

Currently, Anna is pursuing a Masters of Social Work degree.  In her spare time, Anna enjoys performing and teaching as an aerialist.
