District 5970 Rotary Governor Ward Budweg will joins us for our next meeting to talk about activities around the District, the meaning of service, and what to expect in the year ahead.
We'll be at the HACAP Food Reservoir packing food boxes from noon-1 on January 28. HACAP likes to keep their events to 12 people. If you click on the link below to register and it is full, contact Chuck Kudej or Mike Wagner and we'll see if we can find some more room.
We had some great discussions last week to look for groups in our community that we could help with a Community Grant.
Members are reaching out to the Ceramics Studio, Cedar Rapids Parks and Rec, the Catherine McAuley Center, Van Buren Elementary School, LBA and The Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success to see what their needs are.
