This week: Kirkwood Scholarships
One of our favorite meetings every year is happening tomorrow - Bruce Hamous will be leading our presentation of scholarships to local students who will be attending Kirkwood Community College this coming fall. This is always an annual highlight and features a number of community guests, so please give a warm reception to our scholars and their families and supporters!
Next week: May 30 Cookout
Next week will be our "Fifth Wednesday" meeting on Thursday, May 30, at 5:00 p.m. at Hughes Park, 2100 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. If you haven't yet RSVPed to Matt Teply, please do so to give us an accurate count for burgers, brats, and buns! Please also plan to bring a side dish or dessert to share, as well as some beverages to share (or not!). This was a lot of fun last year, and should be again!
