Last Week's Meeting

Thanks to Mike for doing the news and Jane and Charles for leading us in invocation and song.

Our speaker Paul Mooney spoke to us live from Vietnam. He gave us insight into what Vietnam is like today. It was interesting to hear Americans citizens are truly welcome there, even by former soldiers. To young people the war is history only. Thanks so much Lijun for arranging.

Looking forward to this week's presentation by Eric Engleman.

Sunrise Blood Drive

Iowans are strong, and we stand together.

The storm on August 10^th left Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities devastated but not without hope. Every day things are getting better because of residents coming together to help one another.

We are rescheduling the Rotary Blood Drive Challenge for September 24^th! We were all touched by the derecho, but we won’t let it stand in the way of supporting our community.

You can help. Please schedule or reschedule your blood donation to help us rebuild the blood supply. As a thank you for donating, all donors will receive a special retro t-shirt or a $5 gift card!
