This week, Betsy and Dave Kutter will talk to us about their trip to Africa in 2023. They have a wealth of travel under their belts, and are the kind of people who make amazing connections wherever they go. In fact, one of those connections, Father Michael Lapsley, will be speaking to us later this month. Come get inspired to see the world!

 

Next week, we'll be hearing from Al Pierson and Lisa Ramlo with Friends of the Shakespeare Garden on their organization's ongoing efforts to revitalize this wonderful space in Ellis Park. As a reminder, this is the Metro Rotary Project for 2024-2025, so come down and learn more about the impact Rotary is having right here in our community!

 

Thanks to all who came out last week and served at the Cedar Rapids Public Library! It sounds like there was a lot of great work done helping them get ready for their book sale.

The Big Drop Committee will be meeting this week immediately after the regular club meeting, running thirty minutes (short and sweet). We are looking at holding the Big Drop on August 3 - mark your calendars now! Future committee meetings will be on the first and third Wednesdays of each month: April 3, 17; May 1, 15; June 5, 19; July 10 (different due to holiday), 24.
