This Week: May 27 Service Event at HACAP Food Reservoir Warehouse, 1515 Hawkeye Drive, Hiawatha, Noon-1 p.m. 
 
We'll be busy once again assembling food boxes for those in need in our community at the HACAP Food Reservoir. This is a great service project and its feels great to look at all of the finished boxes when we're done. 
 
Make sure you visit the club SignUp Genius to help us know who is coming so we can tell HACAP.
 
And don't forget wear closed toe shoes and watch the Food Safety Training Video.

Last week's Rotary meeting was a truly inspirational one as we heard the stories of 10 area high school students and their plans for the future. We also heard from the Kirkwood Foundation about the impact of Rotary West's scholarship program and how we've been helping students get their start in junior college. 
 
Big thanks to master of ceremonies Bruce Hamous for contacting area high schools to select this year's scholarship winners.

Jana is the Chief Development Officer for Mathew 25. She's worked in membership and marketing for the American Bar Association and in research and membership development at Rotary International.
