NCPETS the annual training for incoming Presidents is scheduled for February. Registration is open and early registrants receive a discount and the registration for one attendee is covered by the district.

If you would like to become the President - elect please contact me. If you are not quite ready this year but do have some interest in July of 2023  please let me know. If you are currently not on the board we would like you to join the 2022-2023 board.

I will be registering for NCPETS under my name so we can receive the discount, and will perform the duties of President for 2022-2023 if necessary. This is something that I will not be able to do in July 2023. I am sure the club is not looking for a perpetual President. Please consider taking an interest in the leadership of Cedar Rapids West Rotary.

Our next meeting at the NCSML will be December 15th at Noon, this will be the last meeting of the year.

Students from Van Buren elementary will be presenting to us their holiday concert.

Thanks to everyone for supporting Foundation and the Rotary Mission. Rotary Rush for district 5970 continues. Your donation to the annual fund will be matched $1 for $1 if the matching donation will get you to your first or next Paul Harris. Everyone should have received an email announcing this match. Rotary Rush ends March or when the donors matching points run out. See Larry if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Matt

Please keep in mind that we are not meeting on December 22nd and December 29th. I would imagine most of the club will be heading to Orlando to watch the Cyclones and Hawkeyes in their respected bowl games. What a nice New Year if they can both manage wins in their last games. We will again meet on January 5th at NCSML at noon. Looking forward to ending the year strong and starting the new year with a bang! Thank you everyone for making my first 6 months successful.
