This past week--

       Our speaker was Casey Drew who spoke to us about the Impact of COVID on the Cedar Rapids budget.  It is projected there could be a $50 million loss in revenue.  This shortfall will need to be met by the City becoming more efficient.  Some refinancing of debt will also help.  Good news there is no impact on the roughly $3 million in revenue from camera speeding tickets.

 

      Guests--We were honored to have the President of the Iowa Falls Rotary Club with us.  Also Matt's dad and wife joined him from there vacation in Wisconsin.

 

      Our new song leader Charles Kudej did a great job.  Thanks for stepping forward!

 

Big Drop--Members are encouraged to sell 100 balls each.  Flyers have been distributed for use by members, but personal contact is best.  Volunteers are sought to help with the event on August 15 from 10-12.  It will be held at the Olympic near New Bo Market. The online ticket site is on the flyer.
