Last Week: Cedar Rapids West Side Library: Dara Schmidt & Charity Tyler
Last week we heard from both Dara Schmidt, Director with the Cedar Rapids Public Library, and Charity Tyler, Executive Director with the Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation, on the new West Side Library Project! It sounds like an amazing project that will provide ample space and resources to our west side library patrons!
This Week: Service Project at National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library
This week we'll be hosting our service project at the Czech & Slovak Museum. Will we be working with Jan Hanks from the Van Buren Elementary on some sort of craft.
A small presentation ceremony to the winner of the Boys Novice division of the Pribyl golf tournament will be held right away at noon.
A meal will be available through Dostal's if desired, email Larry Kudej if interested.
Next Week: No Regular Meeting; 5th Wednesday Fall Harvest Festival
It's nearly here!!! Our Fall Harvest 5th Wednesday Event The event will be held from 5pm-8pm October 30th at Lowe Park Arts and Environment Center in the Hickory Sunburst Room(4500 10th St, Marion, IA 52302)
Silent auction items and possibly a large live auction item(s) are being requested from members. Please reach out to Pete/Susan Eddington or Kim Kudej if you'd like to add something to the auction. All proceeds are being donated to Coats for Kids!

The club will be providing the BBQ'd meat(most likely pulled pork) that Matt Teply has graciously offered to prepare!
A reminder that we will be having a Pints for Polio at Lion's Bridge Brewing in recognition of World Polio Day on October 24th from 4pm-6pm. Lion's Bridge has graciously offered to donate $1 for every beer sold on the 24th.
