Big Drop Update
What a great turn out for the Big Drop Ball Audit! 14 members, 3 non-members, and a lot of walking around in circles. We audited 4000 balls in 90 minutes.

With 4000 balls audited it is now up to us to get them all sold. Last report we had a little over 650 sold. We have a long way to go.

The QR code works great and there are plenty of raffle tickets to assist in selling. If you did not get your sales packet, please contact Tom.

Club challenge is to have each member sell 100 balls.

We will also need all hands on deck on the 16th of July at the Farmers Market so please, please, please block off that time. We sell a lot of balls on the day of the drop!

Thank you committee for everything that you have done thus far! Tom, Janette, Jane, and Charles.

Renewal of Membership
Membership dues have been emailed to club members. The board has adopted some new membership categories. If you fall under one of the new membership categories please adjust the invoice and pay accordingly.

We pay international and district dues on the members on record as of July 1st 2022. I hope no one is considering not staying a club member, but if you are, could you please let me or Janette know so we can update the roster on June 30th. This will assist in being good stewards of the membership dues as we plan for 2022 - 2023.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

My Last Newsletter
Thank you for a great year for Cedar Rapids West Rotary. I hope you have enjoyed the year as much as I have.

I have many people to thank for making the year as successful as it was, and first off I would like to thank the entire membership. My year started with a return to in person meetings and it was great to secure the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library. I believe Bruce Hamous negotiated the contract and it has worked out great. Thank you for implementing one meeting a month for a service project, Teressa has been finding all kinds of interesting things for us to do, and we are learning about several community items that we did not know existed. The lunches have been successful with pre-ordering. It is nice to say that we do not lose money on our lunches and Dostal's has done a great job in providing them to us.

Thank you to Larry and Liz, for having the meeting room ready to go each week, with set up, decorations, and of course cookies and treats that Liz provided. Dennis for having the IT ready to go each week, and Larry again for providing his Zoom account for meetings and board meetings.

Thank you to Penny for managing the speaker schedule, Jane for invocation schedule and Darby for the Greeter and Cashier schedule.

Thank you to Tom, Janette, Jane and Charles for taking on the Big Drop this year. As our only fund raiser it is important that we all join them in making this a success by selling Ping Pong Balls. We have some great non-profits that will benefit from the proceeds this year.

Thank you to the board as we continue to make tough decisions regarding our club, and especially Janette for stepping up to take the mantle of the next President. I look forward to assisting you in the future.

Once again, thank you everyone for putting "Service Above Self."
