I hope to see you this week! Our service event at the Czech Museum is coming up and the Signup Genius link is included. Take some time now to look over the opportunities as there's a wide range of things to do.
You'll also find the Zoom link if you can attend online. It was deleted from the last few newsletters.
As we work to get to know everyone at our meetings, please make sure you introduce yourself to everyone at your table and welcome guests and new members into the conversation.
Service Above Self,
Mike

City View Community High School has a new home in Hiawatha. The Cedar Rapids Community School District's first magnet school moved to Kirkwood Community College's Linn County Regional Center just in time for the 2025 school year.

Lisa Hinzman Howard shared the story behind her transformation from home gardener to The Midwest Garden Gal. She creates and teaches gardening classes, speaks at gardening conventions (in any kind of weather) and offers advice to folks looking to re-imagine their yard. Lisa told us how to use egg shells during planting season and how to fend off ants with a shaker of cinnamon.
Next Week: Service Event - Czech & Slovak Museum & Library
