No Meeting Wednesday

Good morning!

We will not be meeting at the NCSML this week do to our Horizons Service Project. We will meet again in person on February 2nd Ground Hog Day!

Not sure about you, but I could go for an early spring and getting back out on the golf course.

Be carful in the cold and join us on Zoom if you feel more comfortable.

Horizons Service Project

Good luck to all of the Cedar Rapids West Rotary members participating with Horizons Meal on Wheels Program to assist them in filling breakfast and lunch boxes the week of January 25th.

We will be filling boxes from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm each day at Horizons. Due to Covid restrictions we can only have teams of 5 and masks must be worn during the event.

Tom Vander Vaart would like to share some exiting news!

· In early December Tom Vander Vaart ended a decades long career with Pioneer/Tallgrass and joined Office Elements. He is still doing the same thing he has always done just for an employer

that is a better fit. New email is tomv@officeelements.net . Same cell phone.

· For the month of February Tom Vander Vaart will get to display his artwork at the Bever Ave branch of CRBT on the SE side.

You do not need to be a customer. Stop in , have an awesome cookie and take a peek. Thank you to Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust for supporting local artists.

As I mentioned at the last meeting, I would like to give the membership a chance to use this newsletter to reach out to all of our members on business happenings or news that you would like to share with the group.

Kind of like dollar announcements but free of charge!

This could be anything from business news, employment openings, promotions, or sponsorships.

If you would like something placed in the news letter, please just send me an email before Monday morning, and I will include it in this section.
