A couple of us gathered at the Central Furniture Rescue last week to re-arrange the backroom to make it easier to see what's on hand and pick pieces to give away. We also met a woman who is working to start group homes for fellow veterans to help them get back on their feet. 

 

The Furniture Rescue provides furniture and household items at no cost to individuals and families who are transitioning out of experiencing homelessness and into their own places to live. 

Deafinitely Dogs! is a non-profit organization that enriches the lives of people with disabilities by placing highly-trained dogs, trained specifically for their individual needs. The organization strives for increased independence for their clients and believes in the dog/human bond.
