Last week we heard from Karla Twedt-Ball, President and CEO of the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and the works they do with grants, fundraising, and donations both here in the local area and also across the United States
No regular meeting this week as we are having our end of month service project at HACAP in Hiawatha at noon on Wednesday. 1515 Hawkeye Dr, Hiawatha, IA 52233

Next week we'll have our regular noon meeting at the Czech & Slovak Museum where we will hear from Lacey Becker, Executive Director of the Teacher Store. She'll be speaking about what the Teacher Store is and how it helps to benefit the students and schools in our communities by providing free supplies and resources to K-12 educators!
Still looking for 2 possibly 3 other members for the LBA Golf Classic! The club is looking to have a 4 person team for the LBA Foundation Golf Classic on Friday September 6th at 9am: Price would be $100/ team member.
