Our annual day to ring bells for the Salvation Army will be held on November 21 at the HyVee on Wilson Avenue.  Ringing starts at noon and goes until 8 pm.  Time slots are for one hour.  Contact Liz Durham at tedurham1010@yahoo.com  or 319-310-1300 if you are interested in ringing and she can let you know what time slots remain open.  She will take care of signing you up.  If you cannot ring on that day, you can still go to the Salvation Army website to signup for a different time, date and location.  Contact Liz on how to signup direct.  You will need to use her user name and password.

Our prayers go out to Dave and Betsy and their daughter Barb as she struggles with her health.  Dave advised us she is improved some after surgery complications.  

 

Lijun introduced our program.  Matt Wilding spoke to us about his favorite business trip to Rome, Italy in 2019.  Starting with a trip to St. Peter's Square and viewing the Pope, Matt through his slide presentation took us to a number of sites, including the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.  He mentioned the food was great and the people extremely friendly.  He looks forward to going back to Rome and getting to see even more sites in this very historical city.
