Last week we heard from Ryan Schlader and Randy Burke about the different current and upcoming recreational projects in the Linn County area.

 

Definitely a lot of work has been done but is also being continued and planned out for outdoor activities and events!

This week we will hear from Kyle Schrader who is the Operations Manager at Prospect Meadows Sports Complex in Marion 

Next week we will hear from Jenny Bosking, who is the Director of Development and Communications at The Arc of East Central Iowa

Katy Lee has been elected to our club board of directors! Congrats and thank you Katy, you will make a great addition to the board!

 

A short Big Drop meeting will be held right after this week’s regular meeting 

 
The West Rotary board has approved the matching of club donations up to $2500 towards Peter Teahen’s upcoming 2nd Flight to End Polio, which will be a flight around the Atlantic Ocean starting in September. More details to come on how and where to donate!
