Last week we presented checks from our Big Drop Fundraiser in August to Dr. Ruth White with the Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success and Al O'Bannon and Kerry Crowell with the Leaders Believers Achievers Foundation.

This week we will be hearing from Dara Schmidt, Director with the Cedar Rapids Public Library, and Charity Tyler, Executive Director with the Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation, on the new West Side Library Project!
Next Week: Next Week: Service Project at National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library
Next week's Service Project will be held at the Czech & Slovak Museum. We will be working with a liaison with Van Buren Elementary on some sort of craft
A meal will be available through Dostal's if desired
A reminder that we will be having a Pints for Polio at Lion's Bridge Brewing in recognition of World Polio Day on October 24th from 4pm-6pm. Lion's Bridge has graciously offered to donate $1 for every beer sold on the 24th.
Fall Harvest 5th Wednesday Event(Oct 30th): Silent auction items and possibly a large live auction item(s) are being requested from members. Please reach out to Pete/Susan Eddington or Kim Kudej if you'd like to add something to the auction
A sign-up for what to bring to the Fall Harvest Potluck is linked below. Please let us know if you plan to attend and fill in the Google spreadsheet if you plan on bringing an item(s). The club will be providing the BBQ'd meat(most likely pulled pork) that Matt Teply has graciously offered to prepare!
