   Please bring in sample or hotel sizes of hygiene products to tomorrow's meeting. We will be donating them to the Linn County Mental Health Access Center so that our speaker can take them with her after the meeting. 
 
   Hygiene kits typically offer shampoo, soap, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, deodorant, etc.

Linn County Mental Health Access Center Director Erin Foster joins us to talk about the center's 24/7 crisis services. The center provides crisis care for adults experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder that requires immediate attention. A partnership between the county supervisors, local law enforcement, hospitals and local mental health partners led to the creation of the center.

November is Rotary Foundation Month and Rotary District 5970 Foundation Chair Michelle Bell discussed the different ways these contributions are helping Rotary serve communities locally and around the world.

Our club hasn't applied for a Community Impact grant in some time. At a future meeting, we'll discuss how those grants work, what our commitment as a club would look like and most importantly - find a project to support.

Next week is our service event at the NCSML to support Van Buren winter wear 
We donated four boxes of coats to Van Buren Elementary School, but it is getting cold and we want to make sure hats, gloves and mittens are also available. 
 
We'll have a 50/50 raffle and also an auction of items from club members to raise money for Van Buren. Talk to Chuck Kudej or Katy Lee if you have an item to put up for auction.
