The Norman K. Parsells Award is an annual honor presented by the Rotary Clubs of Bridgeport, Derby-Shelton, Devon, Fairfield, Milford, Monroe,
Orange, Stratford, and Trumbull in District 7980 to recognize outstanding service and commitment to both Rotary and the local community. Named in memory of Norman K. Parsells, a devoted Rotarian known for his tireless dedication, integrity, and deep sense of community service, this award celebrates individuals who exemplify the “Service Above Self” motto in their actions and leadership. Each year, clubs select a recipient who mirrors Norm’s spirit of selfless service, strong work ethic, and commitment to improving the lives of others. Honorees are those who put the needs of others before their own and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to unselfish volunteer service, ensuring that their efforts uplift their communities in meaningful ways.
