Nash
- For members info- Graham is not feeling well and has not been able to attend recently. Please remember him in your prayers. Good to see Norma tonight as she has also been under the weather.
Thank you certificate presented to Arja as a dedicated Rotarian and for her contributions last weekend to the RH Winter Carnival.

For Good of Rotary
Cyril- reminder of the Golf Tournament this June. We are looking for all types of sponsors.
$175 each for golf, lunch and dinner. E-mail Cyril for details of sponsorships if interested.
Brian W.- can offer two prizes to Club. First is to have lunch with him in the parliamentary dining room and then a tour of Parliament. Second is lunch with the Ambassador to Myramar for those who might have business interests there.
Jason- free skate at Bond lake Arena on Family Day from 2-4pm.

Issues


Nash
-great deal of frustration by members  who send e-mails for responses but get little response. Jason suggested that a date should be included for response. Richard agreed with a date as he gets hundreds of e-mails. Gord’s answer was simple- if you get a question- answer it!
International Night Fundraising- working with 4 other Clubs. Nash wanted feed back about tickets which will be $100 each. $40 of each ticket goes to charity. There was some feedback that members should not be expected to buy 4 each- especially if they
 are not going. It was left to discretion to donate if one can not be there. Charitable receipts are possible. The charity activity that will be supported by our club has not been 100% decided yet. Ted mentioned that we need to sell 300 tickets by all clubs.
Beer Fest- Anders- has booked time at the Performing Arts Centre for July 18-tentative.We will have use of main foyer and outside patio. Entertainment will hopefully be local bands. Summer is the best time of year for this Fest. It is possible to run 2 Beer Fests a year.
Gord- reminder to Club that the schooner  he built is still available to be auctioned off. It was valued at $12000.
Arja- thanks to those who were to BBQ at the Winter Carnival. Great attendance on a cold weekend.

Glen
Announcement- congrats to Mark L. who was recently married. An event will be held soon to celebrate.
