Orbis Cana;da
Jan. 06, 2020
Orbis International, is an international non-profit organization that brings people together to fight avoidable blindness, restore vision and help ensure no one loses their sight to a preventable, treatable disease. An estimated 253 million adults and children are affected by blindness and visual impairment and 75% suffer from conditions that are treatable or entirely preventable. Nearly all those suffering live in low- to middle-income countries where access to proper eye care is extremely limited or non-existent, therefore, we work with our network of partners to educate, mentor and inspire local eye care teams so they can save sight in their own communities for generations to come. You can visit our website to learn more about the different programs and countries we work in. |
