2024-Tree Of Remembrance

The Rotary Tree of Remembrance originated in Ireland and has since spread around the world. A xmas tree is put up and members of the public are encouraged to remember their loved ones by writing a message on a yellow ribbon and attaching it to the tree. A financial contribution for each ribbon is suggested but is not mandatory and all funds raised are donated to 1 or more local charities.

 

We brought the Tree of Remembrance in 2022 and 2023 and will be repeating it this year with all funds raised again going to Markham Food Bank again.
