On Tuesday, April 4, with funding from Community Services Committee and support from our Hands on Etobicoke team Gillian, Andre and Samantha, 11 bins of  requested "most needed items and sizes" were delivered to Anduhyaun and Nekenaan First Nations Women's two shelters.     The requested items were sweaters, coats, blouses, tops, jeans, underwear, shoes, sweatpants, nightwear, personal hygiene items and towels.     A letter of thanks was received by Gillian  " It is with great joy that we receive these 11 large bins of clothing and essentials specifically purchased and packaged items for our women.  We can never express enough gratitude for your support.    We are proud to have you as our allies and supporters.

Being a WAV agency, essentials are something that every client needs when coming into our organization.  In the last 12 months, over 400 women and children accessed Anduhyaun's services.   Your generous contributions help us to continue to provide so much to these women and children who have experienced violence.   With your help, Aboriginal women and children will always have a safe space at Anduhyaun where they can build and maintain their cultural identify, self-esteem and economies, physical and spiritual well-being."    Jannies Le, Program Coordinator.   Anduhyaun Inc.
