Judy Hanson is the founder and CEO of Autism Home Base, a grass-roots charity started here in Clarington nearly eight years ago.

Autism Home Base serves adults over the age of 18 on the autism spectrum and their families.

Autism Home Base offers social and recreational programs across Durham Region seven days a week so that families can get out of the house, get active and connect with a friendly, supportive network of peers.

No longer alone, they are stronger together surrounded by a caring community.
