The new president of Paarl Rotary, Bryan Anderson, was inducted by outgoing president Anne Kruger on 30 June during an on-line Zoom meeting. Although the event could not take place like a normal induction, Rotarians have refused to be taken hostage by the pandemic and have risen to the challenge.

 

 

 

 

DONATION. Rotarian Hannes Jacobs (left), builder, has completed the renovation of the kitchen at Kerith Retreat in Muldersvlei, a mental health facility. The general upgrading of the centre is currently being project managed by Paarl Rotary. When it came to his attention that the 60 residents and 17 staff members did not have masks, Jacobs alerted Paarl Rotary, who decided to fund the donation of 160 masks.
