Announcements:
- St Nicholas School and Inmaculata High School sent us thank you notes and pictures for our contribution to their programs.
- We receive a thank you note from the Food Bank for our Food Drive event. We collected over $2,000 in food and cash donations.
- Next August 19th, we will participate in Camp Quality. Volunteers will be needed to serve during this event that is catered to children suffering cancer
- We are looking for volunteers for programming for the rest of the months.
Guest Speaker: Joan Hunter
Joan is a member of Ottawa South Rotary Club. She came to talk to us about a fund raising event that they are currently planning "Polo in the Park" and that will take place on Saturday August 27th at the Wesley Clover Parks, 401 Corkstown Rd. There will be a variety of fun activities for the whole family. As well, they are asking for volunteers to help during the event.
